DOUGLAS GRANT PARK

Public BBQ

Nestled in a serene neighborhood, the Douglas Green Park is a charming space with two playgrounds catering to different age groups. The smaller area offers a slide and seesaw, while the larger 'rocket ship' structure invites adventurous climbing for older kids. Intriguingly, the park pays homage to Douglas Grant, an Aboriginal WWI veteran, whose life story is woven into the park's identity. Although there are no public toilets, amenities include water bubblers and a nearby café, Fes and Co. The park, bordered by ecological gardens and a basketball hoop, is a safe, engaging spot for children up to 12 years old, making it a delightful family destination.
